Organization Description:
Organizația Suedeză pentru Ajutor Umanitar Individual, OSAUI, wants to contribute to a society in which everyone is seen, accepted and valued and lives a dignified life. OSAUI is providing specialised and qualitative services for persons with intellectual disabilities promoting their social and economic inclusion in the society. It runs social clubs for elderly. Since 2015, OSAUI is running two social enterprises; a laundry service and a decoration workshop. The organisation was founded in 1991 by IM Swedish Development Partner. It is today an independent Romanian association striving to become financially sustainable from its founder. It is also in a process of developing a new strategy plan for 2020 – 2023.

OSAUI is currently looking for an experienced and strategic Executive Director who can take the organisation to the next level.

Job description: The job holder has the role of ensuring the organization's leadership, management and operations with maximum efficiency, by initializing and implementing strategy and operational plans, identifying financing opportunities, engaging the necessary financial, technological and human resources. In the position rests the responsibility of managing the service manager, the Fundraising, Social Economy and the Finance and Administration Departments.

Qualifications:
• Academic degree in Management, Social Science, Business Economics or other relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in management (experience in NGOs is an advantage).
• Experience in human resource management (Recruitment, salary grading, performance review, devision of duties etcetera).
• Experience in financial management and internal control.
• Experience in project management, and strategic and operational planning.
• Advanced level of written and oral English and Romanian.
• Advanced level of computer skills including Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point.

Duties and responsibilites:
• To represent the organization in relation to third parties (legal representative)
• To ensure effective management of the organization's activities, human resources, financial-accounting activity and material resources.
• To coordinate the activity of attracting funds: designing projects, developing economic activity, raising funds, with content that is in line with the mission of the Association.
• To develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with partners and financiers.
• Communication and promotion of the Association's activities
• To make reports to the Board of Directors of the Association and to the financiers
• To represent the Association at various national and international events.
