1. Ensure adherence to ACTED policies, handbooks, guidelines and donor requirements;

2. Conduct and follow up daily operational logistic activities;

3. Support the administration of resources so that deliverables are achieved within set budgets, timelines and standards;

4. Prepare and develop logistic reports as required by office;

5. Support in development of SOPs as requested;

6. Ensure proper filing of all support documents;

7. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the logistic function;

8. Support setup and development of offices;

9. Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager;

10. The logistic officer has to report directly to the country logistic Line Manager.


1. In cooperation with the line manager and the logistics team, apply procedures for logistics, and transport management, fleet and warehouse in accordance with ACTED guidelines, policies and Code of Conduct;

2. Maintain and update all logistics tools according to ACTED Logistic Guidelines at all-time including, Assets Tracker, Stock Report. and Vehicle Report;

3. Manage the vehicle fleet, including optimizing the use and supervising maintenance. Supervise drivers;

4. Supervise the logistics assistant and support them in day-to-day, asset logging, facility and vehicle checks and maintenance;

5. Ensure that all ACTED facilities in the area office are well maintained and safety equipment is in place and regularly checked;
6. Manage the storage of ACTED stock items in the office safely and accountably in accordance with ACTED guidelines; 7. Support and maintain functional all the ACTED Guest Houses; 8. In cooperation with the Log Team has to set up new computers and has to maintain all the laptops update and functional; 9. Creation of new email for new staff; 10. Responsible for the phone credit distribution.
