Policy Center for Roma and Minorities is looking for an intern for its PR department.

The ideal candidate:

Communication & Public Relations, Journalism or similar field, undergraduate or fresh graduate
Has advanced English knowledge
Has an interest in communication and PR practices for a non-profit organization
Has an interest in civic and social issues.
Responsibilities:

Translates and edits the communication materials (press releases, news, newsletter, invitations, etc)
Offers support for the organization of events
Updates the organization’s database
Other tasks previously agreed upon.

Work time: approximately 10 hours per week

Policy Center for Roma and Minorities is a non-governmental, non-profit, think-tank organization founded in 2008 in Romania, which acts towards solving social inclusion related issues of Roma and other ethnical minorities.

The organization has three main focus areas:

Social inclusion of Roma and other ethnic minorities
Changing negative attitudes towards minority groups, with emphasis on Roma
Promoting a proactive attitude towards societal issues and civic engagement
