The program was designed to address the growing need for young people to reconnect with nature and embrace a more active lifestyle. Participants engaged in hiking, team sports, creative workshops, and environmental initiatives that combined fun, learning, and personal development.
Throughout the week, young people explored the local biodiversity, took part in community clean-up actions, and learned about sustainability and eco-friendly practices through hands-on workshops. Outdoor sports, including volleyball, football, pétanque, and the traditional Hungarian game Méta, provided opportunities to strengthen teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Innovative trust-building exercises such as blindfold walks encouraged cooperation and self-confidence.
By the end of the exchange, participants had not only developed practical and social skills but also gained a renewed appreciation for the outdoors and environmental responsibility. The program emphasized intercultural dialogue, active participation, and personal growth, leaving lasting memories and friendships.
ASCU is proud to have organized this initiative, contributing to the development of young people as responsible, active, and environmentally conscious citizens.
